Women's Creative Group: Experiential and Creative activities using Positive Psychology

This eight week group is to help women develop tools and gain a
deeper understanding of themselves through the use of:
Creative Self-Expression
Writing Exercises
Being in Nature
Meditation & Visualization
Process

The Alchemy of Pain and Illness

This eight-week group is for motivated individuals wanting to learn the most effective practices in dealing with pain, illness and/or disability.
Together the group will learn:
*What the new research on the brain, nutrition and exercise teach us about chronic pain and illness.
*How proven mind/body techniques such as mindfulness meditation, sensory awareness, and guided imagery stimulate the natural human capacity to heal.
*How to harness the power of the mind to transform fear, anxiety and negativity into a generative source for healing.
*How to transcend pain and find pockets of peace and comfort within you.
*How to ask, “Is there something I can learn from this pain?”
